  1. I’m not sure why but the first thought that came to my mind when seeing your tile was “Oh, spring is coming”… I’m still not sure but I like it when tiles give me a “first thought” so I really like your tile *bg*
    Beautiful!

  2. I love the open feeling of your work – and am only slightly jealous of your evenly spaced lines…mine tend to wander. I also really like your signature. It must have taken a long time to come up with something so lovely and so, well, you. Nice work!

    • Thank you. 🙂 The signature is something I came up with for my cross stitching – I needed something simple that had my initials but looked a bit like a pictogram. Eventually, I decided to mirror the K and S and found it looked like a little butterfly. I liked what that portrayed – a butterfly is a creature that has become – something that has gone through an evolution and changed into something else. I guess we all do that in one way or another, so my little butterfly pictogram stuck. 🙂

  3. This is very cool! I don’t know why, but somehow this reminds me of the pictures found on very old explorers’ maps. Orchards and storms at sea and vinyards and butterfly cocoons. Lovely story in there somewhere!

    • I use several pens. I bought a pack of fineliners from a local store (Wilkinson’s), and I also sometimes use some Uni-Ball Eye Micro pens, but other than that, I use a felt tipped pen that is in a set of coloured felt tips and sometimes a Sharpie when I want a thicker line. I have a couple of gel ink pens too, but I hardly ever use those. I’m glad you like them. 🙂

  4. This is so sweet. The unbatz reminds me of maybe a screen or a grid on an outdoor terrace, with flowers dangling down inside and out, and sitting with a cup of tea and a book, relaxing in the outdoor air. Pretty and feminine. I like it!

  5. What a fun, happy tile. The Unbatz looks great, but what is really eye catching is the Mooka hanging upside down like flowers hanging in a spring breeze. Very nice tile!
